Satisfied Pilots Norm McPherson- Kelowna
I've thought many times that this product was perfect, but my customers keep proving me wrong by coming up with some fantastic improvements. A nearly fell over when I saw what Norm had done. I knew he was creative when he asked me to set it up for three 19" monitors, but I wasn't prepared for what he added after that. He has come up with a very clever keyboard mount, a
bungee to hold it centered and a very slick arrangement for tipping the rudder pedals up but what really blew me away was all the screens. He has three LCDs mounted on the front which requires 50 lbs of trim weight, a projector screen, which he isn't to happy with, but the
trickiest are the two 7" DVD players that he has mounted in his autopilot consul to display extra instruments. It is truly a fantastic cockpit, well done Norm!
Norm stopped by to check out my new design, (see how many of his ideas I stole) he was very impressed. What makes that so special is that Norm wasn't satisfied with his Dreamflyer and had spent an incredible amount of money on a powered unit with 3 axis of control. His advice to me was to stay away from the complication. Advice taken, Norm and thanks again for the encouragement
